Use Your Laptop in Kinder Way…
Laptops are great but their usage can lead to very poor posture, as people slump to see low screens and hunker over small keyboards.
If you are using a laptop on a desk or table at home or in the office, a cheap and easy way to improve the ergonomics is to make the following changes:
a) purchase a plug in or remote keyboard and mouse (£10-£20);
b) place your laptop on enough telephone directories or large books to get the top edge of the screen level with your eyes when you’re sitting well in your chair;
c) use the separate keyboard and mouse as you would with a desk top.
Simple but effective. Combine this with the previous tips on this page and your desk work should cause you fewer aches and pains.
